This majestic location is enhanced by the high cliffs, the most important of them being the rock Kalogeros (The Monk) as it is shaped like a monk benting. The beach is covered with coarse sand and small pebbles. The water is not shallow, but it slopes gently, and when there are no waves, the sea is crystal clear with turquoise waters. It is the landmark of the area and in greatly used for diving for the most intrepid swimmers.
