Agioi Saranda is a large sandy and well equipped beach beach on the north coast of Pelion. It is located near Horefto and in the mountain villages of Makryrrachi and Zagora, accessible via a narrow road.
Agioi Saranda has rocks on both sides and also a green scenery that opposes the blue sea. This majestic location is enhanced by the high cliffs, the most important of them being the rock Kalogeros (The Monk) as it is shaped like a monk benting. The beach is covered with coarse sand and small pebbles. The water is not shallow, but it slopes gently, and when there are no waves, the sea is crystal clear with turquoise waters. It is the landmark of the area and in greatly used for diving for the most intrepid swimmers.
