Mouresi is one of the oldest villages in Pelion, 60 kms away from the town of Volos at an altitude of 370m. Its location is on a slope full of chestnut trees and gives you the impression of communicating with nature as well as feelings of peace and tranquility.
Earlier Mouresi used to be in the place that Damouhari is situated today. A pleasant walk across the pebbled square with its three famous lime trees. There you can also visit the cathedral of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity).The village is situated above a deep valley, almost unexplored where there are two streams forming marvellous lakes among some huge rocks.
